IEEE AFRICON is the premier conference for IEEE in Africa, offering a platform for academics and industry professionals worldwide to exchange ideas and present their latest research.
IEEE AFRICON 2015 took place at the historic UNECA Conference Center in Addis Ababa from September 14–17, 2015. The conference theme was “Green Innovation for African Renaissance,” featuring a comprehensive technical program with distinguished keynote speakers and an engaging social program.
The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21 or CMP 11, was held in Paris, France, from November 30 to December 12, 2015. This event marked the 21st annual session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th session of the Meeting of the Parties (CMP) to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.
Prior to the main event, several preliminary conferences took place worldwide. I was asked to design an illustrated theme poster for the African National Dialogue, which was held at the UN Economic Commission for Africa headquarters in Addis Ababa.

In 2015, a national TV broadcaster hosted representatives from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations for an exclusive interview. The show aimed to raise awareness and promote the agency's efforts to tackle food security in Ethiopia and across Africa.
I was tasked with designing the video wall background for the show. For the design, I drew inspiration from FAO’s motto, "Fiat Panis," which translates to "let there be bread."

A Seattle-based adult family LLC, dedicated to providing quality living conditions for senior citizens for over a decade, approached me seeking a visual identity and printable items. I designed their logo, business cards, and t-shirts, integrating the company's mission into their digital footprint.
